Day 5

Team Betty visited Sefwi Wiawso, Bia West, Bia East and Bibiani-Anwiaso-Bekwai on the final day of the campaign tour of the West Region.

We negotiated some of the worst roads in the forest areas of the Western region and have experienced first hand the challenges the executives go through in accessing their branches.

We all agreed that the NDC could not do the same things and expect different results and so there was a pressing need for a dynamic and strategic Leadership. A leadership that would unite our ranks, a leadership that knows, appreciates and will confront the challenges of the grassroots and a Leadership that would be Accessible to the party at all times. My commitment to provide the needed Leadership for Victory 2020 is unquestionable.

We can and should strive to make our natural strongholds impenetrable by the NPP. A motivated, committed and relevant grassroot with an empowered youth, women and zongo is necessary to achieve this feat. As National Chairman, I would make sure we consolidate our traditional parliamentary seats and capture new ones.

I appreciate the host of excellent comments, suggestions, queries and prayers and I am convinced that we shall make history and march on to victory.

The reception was resoundingly overwhelming and the interaction lively.
